There are moments when technology makes you pause.
This was one of them.
One of our endorsers recently uploaded our manuscript for Embracing the Way into an AI tool. Within minutes, it generated a full podcast—two voices having a thoughtful, articulate conversation about the heart of our message.
And honestly… it was impressive.
It captured themes like:
- the “echo of Eden”
- performance-based faith
- the tree of brokenness
- identity being received, not achieved
But as we listened, something didn’t sit quite right.
Because while it could explain intimacy with God…
it has never experienced it.
In this week’s episode, we do something different:
We play the AI-generated podcast in full… and then respond.
Not to critique it harshly—but to discern what it reveals about the moment we’re living in.
Because AI can be helpful.
It can even be powerful.
But it must never replace:
the presence of God
the wisdom of God
or the relationship we were created for
We believe this is an important conversation for all of us.
