The Daily Memo | November 16, 2021 | Walking With God

Somebody can know a person by name, where they live, where they work, the name of their wife and children, what car they drive, their height, their hometown, their age, and many other things, but still cannot know the desires and intentions of that person’s heart.

We live in a time where many people know who God is, who Jesus is, what the church is, or what Christianity is, but even so, they still do not know the heart of God, His desires, and the desires of His heart.

For example, it is impossible to know a person intimately until we invite them inside by opening the door of our house and letting them share a dinner with us. Just like Enoch, Moses, Abraham and so many others who walked with God, God is ready and waiting to start walking with you.

We were designed by God to be where He is, to spend time with Him, and to walk with Him. So, when we are far from Him, we try to fill our inner emptiness with thousands of different things and people, but nothing can satisfy more than a lifetime of walking with God. Only those that know God personally can really experience the beauty of His will and purpose for their life.

And that’s the memo.
