Steve, a lifelong Christ-follower, feels called by God to share his transformational journey in various authentic ways, including writing, blogging, podcasting, and teaching. His passion lies in guiding others through their spiritual journeys.
Over the decades, Steve has utilized multiple platforms—small groups, retreats, seminars, and mentoring programs—to reach out, especially to society’s most marginalized. His commitment is evident in his dedicated efforts to foster personal growth and spiritual understanding.
In his professional life, Steve’s career in business spans over 35 years, during which he worked as a consultant, executive coach, and entrepreneur. He owned or partnered in numerous ventures, drawing on his extensive experience. Steve holds an MBA in Marketing from Drexel University and a BA in Business with a Minor in Economics from Grove City College.
Outside his professional and spiritual pursuits, Steve is a nature and wildlife photography enthusiast, often sharing his work in his ministry posts. He enjoys fitness training, reading, writing, and exploring a diverse array of podcasts.
Colleen feels a strong calling to live her life authentically, sharing Christ’s love in a broken world through her talents as a visionary, leader, and teacher.
Before committing to EBM full-time, she served as the Vice President of Programs at Water Street Mission in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for nearly 12 years. Earlier, she was the Executive Vice President of a national healthcare consulting firm and also an adjunct professor at Eastern University.
A licensed clinical social worker, Colleen holds an MBA from Eastern University, a Master’s in Social Work from Temple University, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Messiah College.
She cherishes the great outdoors and God’s wildlife creation, enjoys flower gardening, and loves spending time with her Golden Retriever, Beau. Whenever possible, she and Steve head to the beach to unwind.
Katie was a project manager and program director at Water Street Mission, until she left following the birth of her first daughter.
Since EBM’s inception, she has worked alongside Colleen and Steve, both professionally and personally, and through her own healing journey.
A graduate of Elizabethtown College and certified girl mom, Katie is passionate about sharing the hope of restoration in Jesus, particularly through the lens of motherhood.
Michael is a Pennsylvania native, born and raised predominantly in Central PA. A graduate of Penn State University, he spent the last twenty-plus years working in the field of Information Technology and is currently Senior Account Manager for an IT firm in the City of Lancaster.
His friendship with Steve began more than a decade ago, after a divinely orchestrated meeting at a Men’s ministry in 2013. Michael has been an ally and contributor to Embracing Brokenness Ministries since 2020, writing, speaking, podcasting, and sharing his testimonies of restoration and discipleship.
The father of three beautiful, talented, and loving children, Michael enjoys hiking, sportsman’s activities, and spending time in the mountains.
