The Daily Memo | December 15, 2023 | Life Within

Scientists now believe that the Earth may have had all the elements needed for life within it all along, contrary to prior theories that these elements came from meteorites.

For many years, scientists have predicted that many of the elements that are crucial ingredients for life, like sulfur and nitrogen, first came to Earth when asteroid-type objects carrying them crashed into our planet’s surface.

I have a different theory. God created the heavens and the earth with a plan that would sustain all human life for however long He decided. Our God who existed from eternity past to eternity future had a plan, no matter what theories scientists have rendered since day 1. What’s fascinating is that science has proven time and time again the marvelous truth that God is responsible for all life. There are no contradictions to the truth of His Word and His sovereignty in science.

Don’t you love that?

God sees you. He knows you. He loves you. “Even as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love”. (Ephesians 1:4)

Just as the earth held all the elements needed to sustain life on this planet, God holds all that we need to make it in this life as we prepare to meet Him in eternity. Jesus guaranteed it with His substitutionary death and resurrection to bring everlasting life to all who believe.

And that’s the memo.
