For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger. – Luke 2:11-12 |
This Christmas, we pray that you embrace the full scope of God’s love: that He sent His only son to earth, closing the gap sin created between God and His people once and for all. Jesus – God incarnate – became human flesh and walked among us. He lived a sinless life and sacrificed Himself on the cross. He overcame death and grave and resurrected victoriously. Because of the price Jesus paid, we can also claim that victory. Fully God. Fully man. The greatest love story of all time. And it all began in a manger in Bethlehem. Regardless of your circumstances this season, may you cling to these truths and remember – Immanuel, God with us. |
